Four ideas about how brains work, and exactly where each one is built into the platform.

The best neurodivergent software is built on four ideas that explain how our brains actually work. Diverse & Deep doesn't just cite them. Every one of the four is built into the app, and here is exactly where.

Interest over urgency

The interest-based nervous system model, INCUP, says attention follows interest, novelty, challenge and urgency, not willpower. In the app: sensory music labels let you follow your ear instead of guessing. The Deep End opens the words and moves of music layer by layer, so the challenge is always optional. We also refuse to manufacture urgency. There are no pop-ups, no countdowns and no pressure to buy anywhere in the app. A shop that respects your battery is a shop you come back to.

Plan by battery, not clock

The low-demand model says you plan around your cognitive battery, not the hours on a clock. In the app: the streams page asks how much energy you have today, and picks music to match. Full, medium, or running on fumes.

Nothing important gets buried

Contained visibility says out of sight is out of mind. In the app: one word per screen in the navigation, every shop category visible at once, and the option to hide the ones you'll never want, so what matters stays where you can see it.

One tap down

A somatic safety net says that near overload, a person needs one tap that turns everything down. In the app: the still view stills the whole screen in a single tap, and the safety banner sits on every page, always in the same place.

The same movement, elsewhere

You can see the same movement in the tools people already rely on: Goblin.tools breaking overwhelming tasks into tiny steps, Finch pairing self-care with encouragement, Thruday planning visually, Cuevera softening workplace messages.

Design for the interest-based nervous system, and you get a platform every brain in the room can trust. That is not a niche claim. That is the whole bet.
